The story of an atypical journey
Born in France and raised between France and Benin, I relocated to Belgium with my family in 2000.
My passion for dance began at the age of 4 with ballet. I later attended Lycée Martin V, where I pursued both ballet and contemporary dance alongside my high school studies.
After earning my high school diploma, I enrolled in a dance conservatory in Toulouse. Although I successfully completed my first year, I had to step away due to a medical condition.
Upon returning to Belgium, I shifted my focus to academics, earning a Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication with a minor in Musicology from UCL. I then pursued a Master's degree in Fashion & Luxury Management at LISAA.
360° career
During my university years, I gained valuable communication experience through internships in two contrasting industries: aviation and fashion media. However, I was eager to expand my skills further, so I took a year off to dive deeper into the field. That journey led me to Festiv@Liège (Belgium), where I spent 10 months as a Communications Assistant, contributing to three major festivals: Les Transardentes, Jazz à Liège, and Les Ardentes.
In 2019, I joined Iris van Herpen B.V. in Amsterdam as a Global Communications & PR Assistant. Later, I moved to Brussels to work with the Belgian activewear brand UNRUN (formerly 42|54), first as a Communication & Production Specialist, and then as Communication & Marketing Manager.
At the end of 2022, I returned to Amsterdam to pursue new challenges as a freelance Digital Marketer and Content Creator.
In June 2023, I transitioned to Nike, where I worked as a Digital Content Specialist at their European HQ in Hilversum.
At Nike, I managed content production for their owned channels across EMEA, including the Nike App for Jordan and SNKRS. I created content using CMS tools, aligning with Nike’s design ethos to enhance the online retail experience. I collaborated with internal teams, external agencies like AKQA, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality sports, promotional, and brand content. From initial briefs to final publishing, I oversaw the entire content production process, building elements such as feed cards, content threads, and push notifications.
I worked closely with the Launch Ops and Launch Support teams to release and launch products on the SNKRS app, while also developing app activations like Gesture Unlock, Stash, SNKRS Pass, and Live Shows. I led SNKRS Pass activations, managed freelance designers for asset creation, and ensured a seamless digital-to-store consumer experience. Additionally, I conducted quality assurance and user acceptance testing for new content, contributing to content capability projects and documenting digital commerce standards.
As of September 2024, I’m back to freelancing and seeking new opportunities within the fashion and sportswear industries.
